Gorgeous color. Love how it looks in my white kitchen. Perfect size for a family of four. The rooster knob is adorable and is a great conversation piece. Love using as a server for company. Keeps food at the perfect temperature.

Rooster finial not oven safe?

I used this pot one time in a low heat oven. The rooster finial changed from a pretty, shiny brass to a dingy and discolored black and grey. It appears that the knob is not oven safe. Has anyone else had this problem?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. The knob is oven safe up to 500°F. However, there are substances that can cause damage on the knob when heated, like acids in certain foods and/or dish detergents. We also recommend keeping the knob and lid several inches away from the heating element in your oven while cooking. Versatile Pot
