Love Zero Water when it works

We have been using Zero Water filters for over a year now and we love it when it works...always have to bang/tap the unit to get rid of the air bubbles after filling top reservoir or the water will not flow through the filter. Hopefully they figure this issue out.
Response from zerowater.comBy ZeroWater Team, June 6, 2024
We certainly apologize for the continued frustrations with the filters, typically this is an easy and quick fix, simply remove the filter from the container and unscrew it from the tray. Then hold the filter sideways/horizontal and grip the filter very tightly and shake the filter with some good force side to side and back and forth 8 to 10 times. This will loosen the filter media and break the air lock. If you do not clear all of air from the filter this issue will continue to compound itself over and over. Also never fill the reservoir directly from the faucet or spigot from your sink as this is naturally aerated and will force air down inside the filter. It is best to fill the reservoir with a large glass or measuring cup and pour into the corner of the reservoir away from the center of the filter. If there is ever a filter that simply just will not fix itself when the aforementioned trouble shooting steps have been followed we are more than happy to replace that filter. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
