The monitor is ok. The “built-in” camera is of poor quality. It looks as if it had been glued on to the back of the monitor as a second thought. It does not pop up as others. You have to pull it out from behind the monitor and there is not much to grab onto to bring it up. It’s not intuitive and there is no defined groove or knob to grab to pull it out. You feel you are going to break it. The quick set up instructions mention nothing about the fact that the mini USB port is the one that connects the camera. The cable is so short the tower cannot be placed on the ground or too far from the monitor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good display - No doc how to connect webcam

This appears to be a good monitor display and has numerous connections built into the bottom/back of the monitor. However, we bought it for the integrated (pop up) web cam but there is absolutely no documentation on how to connect it to a PC or make it work -- no doc included, no doc in the users manual, no doc on the web. And many others have said the same thing on the web. Hoping that I can somehow contact a human in HP and they can explain it. I might recommend it if they included how to connect and operate the webcam.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This display is heavy, very well made - materials feel premium across the board and I’m confident this monitor will last a decade! Very sleek, modern look. I appreciate the Eye Ease feature to reduce eye strain on long usage.
This isn’t necessarily meant to be a gaming monitor, so it’s not going to have the refresh rates and pixel density you might find there (HP has plenty of options for that!) but it’s a great choice for home office or business use.
Ample ports support standard VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort connectivity as well as USB.
Everything you’d want out of a 27” monitor for home or work!
