great cooler!

This cooler works really well in many areas, water lasts a very long time and the oscillation feature is great. Very easy to move because of the wheels underneath it especially when changing seats in the room or in a workshop. Fits well in many tight locations and has a timer to help shut it down automatically. Ice packs come with the unit for colder air but I have not found the need for it since the air flow is very cool already.

The unit provides some enhanced cooling in the house for some hot spot rooms. A couple of rooms upstairs catch the sun in the afternoon and this unit helps enhance the air conditioning in the house. The water capacity is nice as you can run for long periods of time without refilling. A couple of items to note, even on it's lowest setting, the unit is still a bit loud. Also, I tried the unit in an 11x7 shed that has no other cooling, and if the heat of the day is already there, the unit doesn't really provide any relief. I know that's not what this product is designed for, but I wanted to give it a shot to see what it could do.

I got this product as a product review and I have to tell you it is amazing! I really was looking for something like this foe quite some time but had always just put it on the back burner. Now I'm sorry I did. I am so happy with the way this product performs and it has made a huge difference in my home. The upstairs where I have it used to be unbearable in the summer. Now it's just as cool and comfortable as the whole house. The wheels on the bottom make it super easy to relocate. This is the second Newair product I have an am so pleased with both items.

We've been using this evaporateve cooler in out garage to keep things cooler in the hot summer months. We live in Southren California is it can get 100+ outside, and even hotter in the garage. With using the included ice packs in the water tank the air temperature that was coming out of the cooler was 10-15 degrees cooler than the air in the shop which made thins a LOT more comfortable. Room air conditioners, even the portable ones require a vent and a drain to the outiside and also use a lot of electricity. This required none of those things which made it really easy to setup. It's also relativly quiet which is nice. It has wheels on it so I can move it around the inside of the garage to cool me off no matter where Im working.

Amazing Cooling Unit!

OK I just want to start by saying, This thing is AWESOME!!! Quiet, Works very cold and uses very little water, And looks really Sharp!!! I could keep going on about how much I love this AC Unit!! We put it in the kitchen to help with the undersized AC unit we have in our house and it does an amazing job and cooling it right down! Thinking of ordering a second one now for our bedroom!! Will always recommend this product to everyone!!

We got this fan about three week ago and I can not belive how this works. Not only is the fan powerful and quiet but when you turn on the evaporation you can also feel the air is cooler. we have this in the living room and have found that even in the summer we will need a blanket at night.

Amazing Product!

I live in Texas which is arguably one of the hottest and most humid places in the states to live in, so you can only imagine how hot it gets here. Last I checked it was upwards of 100 degrees F. When the Frigidaire Evaporative Air Cooler and Tower Fan arrived at my home I was excited. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was how beautiful it was. The black and white colors go so well in my home and though the tower is big, its portable. Outside of its beauty, its functions are amazing. It blows cool air and adds moisture to my space when I need it. The oscillation is so unique so rather than the entire unit moving, the vents move instead. The remote makes controlling the unit so easy and convenient my 6-year-old daughter can use it. The details in this machine are what sold me. I'm so happy to have this fan in my home and I will continue to rave about this product and recommend it to everyone.
