We've been using this evaporateve cooler in out garage to keep things cooler in the hot summer months. We live in Southren California is it can get 100+ outside, and even hotter in the garage. With using the included ice packs in the water tank the air temperature that was coming out of the cooler was 10-15 degrees cooler than the air in the shop which made thins a LOT more comfortable. Room air conditioners, even the portable ones require a vent and a drain to the outiside and also use a lot of electricity. This required none of those things which made it really easy to setup. It's also relativly quiet which is nice. It has wheels on it so I can move it around the inside of the garage to cool me off no matter where Im working.

This fan is awesome! At first I was a bit intimidated by it thinking it would be "hard" to use or not very user friendly and that couldn't be further from it! But then I also wondered if it I I really wondered would it really have a true "cooling effect" as much as it said and it does!! Obviously it would be most effective in home but I actually moved it outside in our garage area and used it in there while grilling some food up, and again, it worked amazing to help keep the area cooler!

This tower cooler has been working wonders in our home. We have been using it for about a month already and it's been keeping our home fresh during the summer. Since it comes with ice packs, it helps to cool the water and in turn the air it blows feels really cool. I love that it's small and tall so it really doesn't take up much space in our home but works amazing.

I live in Arizona and my daugher's bedroom has a South facing window that made her room 10 degress hotter than the other living areas of our home. I bought this evaporative air cooler in hopes that it would bring the temp of her room down to a more comfortable temp and it did! She is very pleased with it and greatful for the cooler temp in her room as she is a teenager who spend most of her time in her room. Thank you, her room is no longer the hottest room in the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great alternative to an air conditioner

It cools fairly well, the water tank will last 8 hours on fan speed 1, it’s also very portable. Would work good in a smaller room.
