Overall an great product!

This is my 4th day of ownership for the product. The unit works as advertised. I find the best use case is in my office room (18' x 18'). It can get uncomfortably warm in the mid-afternoon in this room (around 77-78 degrees ambient temp). When I add the ice packs into the tub, it feels amazing to have the consistent 70% cool air blowing on me. It definitely gets me through the hot afternoon days plus more.
A couple critics though to essentially make this a perfect unit:
- Minor complaint of wishing the remote came with batteries
- The rollers are great when on non carpeted floors such as hardwood or tile. But it is no longer functional on carpet. Would be a good idea to raise the rollers.

Amazing Product!

I live in Texas which is arguably one of the hottest and most humid places in the states to live in, so you can only imagine how hot it gets here. Last I checked it was upwards of 100 degrees F. When the Frigidaire Evaporative Air Cooler and Tower Fan arrived at my home I was excited. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was how beautiful it was. The black and white colors go so well in my home and though the tower is big, its portable. Outside of its beauty, its functions are amazing. It blows cool air and adds moisture to my space when I need it. The oscillation is so unique so rather than the entire unit moving, the vents move instead. The remote makes controlling the unit so easy and convenient my 6-year-old daughter can use it. The details in this machine are what sold me. I'm so happy to have this fan in my home and I will continue to rave about this product and recommend it to everyone.

Perfect for the desert heat!

I have been using this cooler for about 5 days now and I can honestly say that I LOVE it. I live in Arizona, and this past week has been consistently over 100 degrees F. It's been HOT and it's been DRY. This cooler took a 100+ degree day and made it feel like a crisp and cool spring morning. I was afraid that using water to cool the air would make my home feel muggy and sticky, but it did just the opposite! I set the cooler up in my living room, filled the water level to the max, and popped one of the ice coolers inside. Almost instantly the room felt *comfortable* to live in. One thing I dislike about traditional air conditioning is that there doesn't seem to be a middle ground, it’s either too cold or not cold enough. This cooler hit right in that sweet spot where it was able to cool off the room but not turn it into what feels like arctic tundra.
I read that it can also be used outside, so I tested it out on my patio on a 110 F day and this is what really made the cooler earn its 5-Star Rating from me. WOW is an understatement, I wanted to stay outside in 110 F weather ALL DAY! It made lounging on my patio so much more enjoyable. I didn't have to go inside after 15 minutes like I usually would. This was also great to use at night to keep my bedroom cool during these hot summer months.
Setting the cooler up was quick and simple. I really like that it comes with a remote so I can change the settings from the comfort of my couch and bed. The only “con” I had with this cooler was the size of it. I didn’t check the size beforehand and expected it to be smaller so I was kind of shocked when I got the actual tower into my house, but it was able to fit in the corner of my living room and still cool off the entire room, it isn’t too big to the point where it’d be an eyesore or anything, just keep in mind it might be larger than you’d expected. Overall, this cooler is great and I recommended it to all of my fellow desert-dwelling friends and family.

Great alternative to an air conditioner

We've been using this evaporateve cooler in out garage to keep things cooler in the hot summer months. We live in Southren California is it can get 100+ outside, and even hotter in the garage. With using the included ice packs in the water tank the air temperature that was coming out of the cooler was 10-15 degrees cooler than the air in the shop which made thins a LOT more comfortable.
Room air conditioners, even the portable ones require a vent and a drain to the outiside and also use a lot of electricity. This required none of those things which made it really easy to setup. It's also relativly quiet which is nice. It has wheels on it so I can move it around the inside of the garage to cool me off no matter where Im working.

oh wow I love this AC cooler! Here is Texas a regular isolating fan just won't cut it. This fan blows cool are and helps to cool a large area. I'm looking forward to cutting down our electric bill!

AMAZING!! Love this air cooler!

I have been searching for a way to keep my garage cool now that I have a home gym in it, and this was the perfect solution! I love how portable this air cooler is compared to window units. It slides on hardwood so easily and it’s a very high quality air cooler! If you considering purchasing it, do it! You will not regret it. It also comes with ice packs to make the air even cooler

GREAT FAN!

This fan is awesome! At first I was a bit intimidated by it thinking it would be "hard" to use or not very user friendly and that couldn't be further from it! But then I also wondered if it I I really wondered would it really have a true "cooling effect" as much as it said and it does!! Obviously it would be most effective in home but I actually moved it outside in our garage area and used it in there while grilling some food up, and again, it worked amazing to help keep the area cooler!

Keeping the entire house cool with 1 unit
