I live in Texas which is arguably one of the hottest and most humid places in the states to live in, so you can only imagine how hot it gets here. Last I checked it was upwards of 100 degrees F. When the Frigidaire Evaporative Air Cooler and Tower Fan arrived at my home I was excited. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was how beautiful it was. The black and white colors go so well in my home and though the tower is big, its portable. Outside of its beauty, its functions are amazing. It blows cool air and adds moisture to my space when I need it. The oscillation is so unique so rather than the entire unit moving, the vents move instead. The remote makes controlling the unit so easy and convenient my 6-year-old daughter can use it. The details in this machine are what sold me. I'm so happy to have this fan in my home and I will continue to rave about this product and recommend it to everyone.

Amazing fan

I have been using my new fan for about a week and it has been amazing at keeping our home cool! I have been able to keep the air at 75 and keep the fan running throughout the day. The fan keeps the home cool! I added the ice box in for the first time yesterday and the air that blew out was even cooler! I love the two settings the fan has. We keep ours at 1 and it blows a lot of cold air. I am excited that this fan is going to save us tons of money on our electricity bill because we use to run our air at 70 all day and now with the fan we only have to have it set at 75. Great fan for a great price!

Amazing Cooler!

We live in California with the dry and humid heat, this cooler and been a lifesaver! We use it upstairs in our loft turned bedroom and it works great! I love that it’s big in size, yet looks so modern and sleek! It keeps the room cool and not so hot and sticky! Definitely would recommend! It’s also very easy to use!

A Must Have

We received the NewAir Evaporative Cooler a few weeks ago right in time for a heat wave in Southern California. It was hot and humid for over a week and this product was a lifesaver. It humidifies the air and adds cool moisture into our house. Now the weather has cooled down a bit but we continue to use it daily to make our place feel perfect. We love the look of it and how slim and compact it is. It has 3 fan speeds which is really nice so you can gage how much cool breeze you want traveling through your home.Also I love the remote control and it allows me to be anywhere in our house to adjust the settings. We have purchased a few machines like this in the past from other brands and we have always been disappointed, they usually are really loud and don't cool down the house like we hope. This product is amazing and actually very affordable for the price. Nothing is worse than being uncomfortable and hot at home. We highly recommend it to anyone that doesn't have Air Condition or needs something more. Thank you

Perfect for hot, dry climates

My husband and I were looking for a powerful fan to cool off our exercise room during and after workouts. This one is excellent! I’m actually looking forward to using it even into the cooler months when the air is extra dry from the heat running in the house. Another great NewAir appliance in our collection!

We live on the California Central Coast and don't have central air, so that can make hot days miserable. We love the NewAir Evaporative Cooler in our home! Not only is it portable and super easy to set up, but it brings our family together in our living room where it is nice and cool! I love its sleek, modern design as well, it looks good in our living room. Plus, it cools with water (a big plus). The water tray holds a lot of water and you can easily fill it in your kitchen sink. I like that the fins on the unit oscillate rather than the whole unit itself. Plus, it has a remote control - making it easy to use and control from anywhere in the room. This is my 4th day of ownership for the product. The unit works as advertised. I find the best use case is in my office room (18' x 18'). It can get uncomfortably warm in the mid-afternoon in this room (around 77-78 degrees ambient temp). When I add the ice packs into the tub, it feels amazing to have the consistent 70% cool air blowing on me. It definitely gets me through the hot afternoon days plus more. A couple critics though to essentially make this a perfect unit: - Minor complaint of wishing the remote came with batteries - The rollers are great when on non carpeted floors such as hardwood or tile. But it is no longer functional on carpet. Would be a good idea to raise the rollers.
