High quality, easy setup
It's a simple little thing to set up, physically. It's powered by a micro USB port and comes with an adapter and cable, so it's really easy to get power to it. I've even been able to use a usb battery pack for it. The base is magnetic! And it comes with a steel plate you can attach to any surface to give it a good mounting point, or you can stick it to your refrigerator, file cabinet, etc. Besides the easy installation, I like the super wide angle lens. It covers my entire livingroom pretty well. I also like the picture quality, even in low light. The app is easy to use and does a great job marking activity for easy playback. It uses a micro SD card for onboard memory, so you don't have to sign up for a service to be able to scan your history. Of course, it does require an app and a Lorex login. I'm getting a bit fatigued by having so many different logins for so many different devices. Overall, this is a solid device, does what it's supposed to do, and doesn't need a paid account to access your stuff.

Budget Cam with lots of features
The first thing you're going to notice on this camera is how it resembles the nest cam but is not. That being said, this camera was very easy to set up. Like most of the smart equipment nowadays requires the creation of an account with the respective brand. Once that is done scan the barcode in the back and you're set. The app was very simple to use with minimal navigations and everything within the home screen . The camera is well made and is very light.
it records in 1080P and the images look decent but, in my opinion for this camera being at 1080 it should look much better. The images dont look as sharp as other 1080p cameras I have and look kind of washed, and when you zoom in they get ever worse. Something I also notice while using the live feed on the app it has a noticeable delay. This camera records clips and is also capable of taking pictures and night vision was actually pretty good. I do like the fact that you can store events right on the camera using an SDCard and a 16GB is included. One thing that really failed was the camera speaker, it is not very loud and people will have trouble hearing you, now the mic was much better. I was able to hear the sound on my phone with no issues.
One of my favorite features was the ability to link the camera with the Google Home, I was able to see the live videos on my google home hubs and it worked flawlessly. That setup was simple and to bring up the camera on your google display just say Google show me (the room the camera is in). You can also use this same feature with Alexa. In the Lorex home app you can manage all the cameras and adjust the alerts, storage but you cannot change the video settings. Overall this camera for the price and all the features it comes with it is a very good budget security camera. In the box you get the camera, mounting kit, USB cable, power brick and manuals.

Great security camera
You can never be too safe and the security camera works great, has a great wide angle view without the overly excessive wide angle camera distortion, and it is super easy to set up. I have mine set up in the basement to view the back door but I hope to never get a notification on my phone that a person has been detected. It does work though. When testing, I got a notification of movement, I popped right into the Lorex app and saw it was just me thankfully. The resolution is great too. If you have more than 1 you can set it up to see all of them at one time. You can also set motion zones and sensitivity so you arent setting it off all the time and you can turn notifications off if youre in the area so you dont continually get notifications about you being in the area. I love that it provides all those features without needing a subscription. All the recording is right to the included micro SD card and runs off your WiFi for notifications. Also comes with mounting stuff but I just have mine on its base and it feels stable. Overall Great camera, simple to use, the app is easy to use, and I have some extra peace knowing I have an extra eye out at all times.

This Lorex WiFi camera is a very nice and affordable WiFi camera. Resolution is very good, and best of all it works with the Lorex Home App. It doesn?t have the deference features but the price reflects that. Love the magnetic mounting feature.

This is a great system and I would highly recommend it to anybody who is on a budget. Was a little finnicky to set up as I had an older router and a bad coax cable but once set up it was everything I had hoped for. This is a great purchase for people in apartments or for people who are renting any sort of facility and are forbidden from putting screws etc. in the walls. I love how you can pick and choose when to stop cameras from recording but still receive notifications for movement and sound. The only things I am yet to find (I just set it all up today) is how to transfer/delete the videos without having to remove the SD card from each camera individually and how to set it up on a schedule for certain days and times to record.
