Light operation

The light does not come on every time the camera activates. I have a camera just like this one on my drive. Its settings are the same as the new one. I have them set to activate 2000 hour to 700 hours the next morning. The camera sends me a notification when activated but the light does not always come on

Lorex Cameras do not recover after power interruption.

I have several Lorex cameras and they do not reliably recover from a power outage or when more than one has power restored at the same time. Each camera has to be individual restarted (power cycled) to get a WiFi connection. Frustraiting!
The new camera has the same problem as the other 5 Lorex cameras I have.

I've had 3 of these for about 7 months - They detect rain, snow, bugs and sometimes I have hundreds of notifications in the morning. I can walk 20 feet in front of them and they won't detect a person. The motion detection points down while the camera looks out. Also, whenever the wifi or power goes out I have to try 20-30 times to get these reconnected. DO NOT buy these cameras. Spend your money on a different brand!

i bought two these flood light they are just flood light as camera gives all false alarm as it gives alarm with bugs flying or just wind , i have to turn off notification otherwise i can not sleep due to so many false alarm

I owned two systems before trying Lorex. I worked for about 35 hours, oveer several days trying to get it to work. In the end I returned it for credit. Good looking unit. But it surprised me how difficult it was to use. Compared to your product; the other two systems I owned were plug and play.

Great flood light and security

The lights are bright and the camera image is very crisp. 32gb storage that comes with it is plenty. My motion detection triggers easy even set on low sensitivity. Shadows from trees moving from the wind triggers motion detection but still a great value.
