I had purchased two of these units. We live out in the country and have wireless internet service that is not alway the greatest but both lights tell us when something is moving outside.

Great camera

Really easy setup and connects to my wifi better than my former Ring floodlight. Picture is clearer and all the same functionality/notifications. Plus there is no annual fee for the service. This makes the 8th Lorex camera I've purchased and each one has been top notch.

Not the greatest

It’s ok. This is the second one I’ve had. I’m still unable to link it up with my Lorex app while following all directions and troubleshooting methods. I’ve tried 20 times and nothing yet. There’s others on the market more superior to this. I had issues linking up the one at my previous house this same way. I won’t buy again.

Really good unit

The floodlight camera is a really nice wifi camera that works as described. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I would like to see Lorex expand their recording capabilities with a recorder that supports more than 8 wifi cameras. I have 11 of the floodlight cameras along with inside wifi units but no way to have wired cameras with my homes configuration therefore having to use all Sims cards which is extremely difficult if I need access to them because of the height they are mounted around the house and property. I have 17 of Lorex's cameras and would need numerous and expensive NVR units since only half of a recorder that handles wifi with the other half hard wired cameras which I do not have the luxury of utilizing.

Wouldn’t ever connect

So much for plug and play….we have an Orbi mesh style router…so if you have one of these, don’t even bother. We couldn’t get any of the cameras we ordered from them to connect. After doing all the normal things on our end, spent close to four hours on the phone with customer support only for them to have us do all the same things. Once that didn’t work, they pushed blame to our ISP and security settings. We returned everything for a refund(except for the expedited shipping I paid extra for) and bought a Ring camera to try. Lo and behold, it connected first attempt. So much for the ISP being the issue….

Not even 2 years old and the light stopped working

Lights no longer come on no matter if there's motion or if I try to manually operate them. I tried reseting the unit and shutoff the power to see if that would reboot it somehow. However it's just not happening. Camera still works but without the light it's really frustrating.
