I’d like for the camera
on April 17, 2022

I’d like for the camera to articulate left or right. Installing was easy just had issues tying into my network. It seems you have to hold the reset button for 1 min not 10 sec like the instructions state.

Great camera, flood light. Software works well. Integrates well with other Lorex security software. Trouble shooting instructions could be better. Tech support is excellent when the instructions do not work.

I'm amazed how good is the floodlight, easy to install and connecting to the Wi-Fi, and the resolution of the view incredible.
I'm happy with my selection.

Motion Detection too sensitive at night, and camera cannot pivot left or right only up and down.
on June 18, 2022

I purchased and installed two of these floodlight cameras. I had high hopes, but ultimately I am very unimpressed.
Pros: 24/7 recording option stored on the SD card. 2 way talk. WIFI connection. Built in floodlight. No subscription cost.
Cons: Motion detection is absolutely horrible at night. The night vision is washed out. Depending on ambient lighting, you will be able to see without the lights on but it will look like you're in a blizzard. Other times you cannot see anything past 5 feet in front of the camera. My first night using the cameras I had over 300 alerts from bugs. The next day I decreased the motion sensitivity to the lowest setting possible and still received an obnoxious amount of alerts. One of the biggest issues I have with these is the fact that you cannot physically pivot the camera left or right at all. You can only adjust it up and down, so unless you're planning on putting it in a location where you are perfectly centered and looking straight out, you are not going to be happy. Lorex knew about this issue for years, it's all in the reviews on other websites, maybe a few on this website as well. Lorex has chosen to not do anything about this issue which says a lot about how they feel about their customers. There are other floodlight cameras out there that can be pivoted on a ball on the backside of the camera to whatever angle you want such as Ring, Eufy, and Google. However those all have their own issues such as paying a monthly subscription or not having the continuous recording option. Unfortunately I cannot seem to find any brand that has made a quality floodlight camera.
To change my opinion: They should integrate smart person/vehicle detection into their cameras to cut back on the false alerts at night. Change the physical design to include a ball on the backside of their cameras to allow you to pivot the camera left, right, up, and down however far you want. Fix the night vision so it's not washed out. This camera has potential, but seeing as Lorex doesn't seem motivated to fix their issues despite what feedback customers are giving, don't hold your breath.
The cons outweigh the pros in my opinion and I will be sending these floodlight cameras back.

Great light and camera
on June 20, 2022

Camera and lights and app are all fantastic but the camera is not designed to be mounted from the underside of an eave or roof. It is only designed to be mounted from a vertical wall. All my floodlights that i am replacing hang down from a horizontal soffet. The issue is the camera has a limiter to prevent full rotation. Just manufacture the unit without limiters so we can get full rotation! I did the modifications myself and made it work. But a lot of houses have theses lights in the same position as mine so why not make a unit that can be mounted both ways?
