Firmware update is a joke

Grandparents bought this for my son... and in trying to do the first thing it asks (update the firmware) ...
Its not like the videos or the instructions, there is no list of files to transfer, its an EXE file. I cannot even start the EXE because it tells me it requires .NET framework. Well, I already have the latest framework runtime and tells me that it requires 3.5. That version was released in 2007...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The firmware update process is not working!

I charged the watch and the Tobi Mode is not appearing. I've updated the firmware (after some tricks to be able to update the firmware) and the tobi mode is not appearing. The settings page is not appearing too ( I can't even set the clock to the right time). The camera mode is not working because the buttons are not appearing.

Pointless

My wife bought these watches for my two kids. I didn't know anything about them until they already had them. Checking out the "features", (not really), and finding out that these "fully functional smartwatches" aren't capable of any form of messaging to a non-Tobi device was pretty disappointing. What's the point of including Bluetooth connectivity, but preventing the watches from connecting to the Bluetooth on my iPhone? What's "smart" about a watch that has no connectivity? I'm unimpressed. All these are are toys, not smart watches.

Terrible design, broken after 3 weeks.

- The home/main button is too small and hard to press which makes it a struggle for kids to use.
- The user interface is poorly designed and confusing even for an adult.
- The touchscreen is slow to respond and laggy making it difficult for kids to navigate around.
- Build quality is poor, plastic scratches easily, etc.
- After 3 weeks of use, the watch will no longer turn on.
- Bottom line: Over-priced piece of junk, stay away from this toy.

Nice and Cute, but...

Tobi is a great watch and very easy/fun to use and interactive for my son. My son LOVES Tobi, however the watch band is too small for him. We bought Tobi because it was very interesting for him, and I thought it would be good for a fitness tracker for him as well. With him unable to wear the watch, it doesn't work to use as a fitness tracker. And we are not a big fan of the clip to wear on his shorts/pants.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this for my daughter and it says Games Galore! But the truth is there is only 3 games. You can't seem to download games or anything except a pointless firmware update..??

Won't Turn On

I charged it for 4 hours and it turned on briefly then the screen went black, so I charged it overnight and it won't turn on at all. Very disappointing for my birthday girl.

Great fun watch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This watch has kept my kids 4, 6 and 8 busy and having fun! The activities and games promote movement and learning! The watch will communicate with other like watches. The only wish I have is that there were an app I could download on my phone to communicate with the kids watch. I like how the watch can be removed to clean or charge or go into the clip stand.
I would recommend this to a friend!
