Love and hate

I love LG products and waited long time without refrigerator until my LG refrigerator arrive. I resisted buying another brand while living without refrigerator because I really wanted this one. I loved it until this summer, just little over a year later, it starts to beep (door alarm) even though it is closed. It is only little over 1 year old refrigerator already creating issues. LG tech over the phone couldn’t help. So, I had to disconnect door alarm but now ice won’t make because of disconnecting door alarm wire. If I connect it back, ice is generating but door alarm won’t stop.
I think it is design error. I want to love LG refrigerator but now, I am very disappointed at this annoying issue.

LG Refrigerator

I bought a 2021 LG side by side refigerator in 2022. Eight months after I came home to all my freezer items defrosted and spoiled and my refrigerator items warm and spoiled. It was still running, but not cooling. Troubleshooted online to no avail. LG gave me 3 local repair shops to call. Repairman found the gas line had crimps in it so he replaced the gasline, filter, and refilled the gas. Its working now, dissatisfied with manufacturers build.
