Lack of diversity

I am concerned and disappointed in the Barbie brand for not producing this doll with various skin colors. The “You Can Be Anything” should be inclusive of children from all backgrounds. “When a girl plays with Barbie, she imagines everything that she could become.”

She’s so Flexible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old daughter absolutely loves this Barbie. She is still playing with it 4 weeks later.
Barbie is articulated in her shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. Her hair is in a set bun (which still looks great after all these weeks of play). She comes with 2 leotards and a sweat suit set. The batons, hoops, medal, and trophy are very useful accessories that help with the imaginative gymnastic program. The clip to put around her waist so she will flip is the only area which needs improvement.
The clip is impossibly stiff. Trying to affix it while Barbie is dressed, can be done if set on a side then rotated to not go over the Velcro closure. My daughter could not get it on but I was able to. The clip has been abandoned.
Barbie constantly is high flying and being set up on the balance beam. My daughter gives this set a 10/10. I am very pleased with the quality and diversity of accessories.

Fun Accessories

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves playing with this Barbie because there are loads of accessories and outfits. There are lots of ways to play with this Barbie, so it holds her attention.
Both my daughter and I pinched our fingers with her arms when trying to change the Barbie’s outfits. It did hurt quite a bit.

Great addition to the Barbie line!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We LOVE this set! Barbie has done it again! My daughter (6) takes gymnastics and she is having so much fun helping Barbie and "teaching" her stunts on the beam and floor!
I love that this doll is articulated in the wrists, elbows, and knees--she is able to do a bridge and actually mimics the movements that my daughter is able to do in her own class, which is fun to see her show the doll new things she learns and has Barbie try to do them as well. The accessories are also plentiful--my daughter just loves having a mini balance beam; she thinks it is just the coolest thing. The set also comes with rings and batons for floor routines, two leotards (one for practice and one for competition, if you ask my child), a gym bag, snacks (!! bananas and trail mix), a water bottle, a medal AND a trophy. My daughter also is absolutely loving the spinning ring for cartwheels, flips, spins... everything! The only downside is that it is a little difficult for her to get it on and off, so I end up helping her with that.
Overall, this set is so much fun! We've been holding daily gymnastics competitions and trying to see all the fun moves that the Barbie and my daughter can do. I'd definitely recommend this set to anyone with a young gymnast!
