It's Barbie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doll looks pretty, but the gown is just meh, the quality just isn't there, there's a bit of leftover plastic between the fingers, this isn't something I see on regular barbies I've bought for my girls so it shows a lack of quality control, the shoes didn't line up correctly either.
The slight rosy cheeks and the detail on the nails were cute though. It's barbie, looks like barbie but for a Holiday barbie, I expected more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this doll, for my niece, as she collects Barbies. She has my original 1960's, the original Malibu and several of the holiday dolls. She was so excited to receive this doll. The outfit, the hair, just gorgeous. My grandmother started collecting dolls of all kinds, including Barbies in the 70's, and passed them on after she passed. Those dolls are now in the hands of great and great-grandchildren, waiting to be passed down through the generations. Most are still in their original boxes.

Beautiful, detailed, flawless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie is almost too beautiful to open. Both my daughter and son we're completely thrilled. This Holiday Barbie has long blonde hair with big flawless curls at the bottom. Beautiful makeup with a glittery gold eyeshadow that "pops'! The dress is gold and glittery with very beautiful detail of snowflakes and a beautiful petite bow around the waist. The arms do not bend. Her nails are painted flawlessly. Overall, 2020 hasn't been the prettiest year but this Barbie would make a beautiful gift for anyone to end it and remember it by.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Holiday Barbie of years gone by is known for exquisite couture gowns, embellished with special touches that make them sparkle. You could easily imagine Barbie stepping into a winter wonderland of her very own making. Those past Barbies had children stopping in the store aisles -- along with their parents -- with 'oohs' and 'ahhs' and squeals of delight. They were worth every penny as a collection doll.
In recent years, the Holiday Barbie has missed its mark, and the 2020 doll unfortunately, is no exception. She does has a pretty face with makeup that matches today's trends. Her blond hair is beautifully done in elegant ringlets, smoothed in the front and swept behind the ears. But that is where the elegance and beauty ends.
The gold dress she is wearing looks like a bad knock-off versus a beautiful gown. It has a very cheap quality look that is unappealing to the eye and gives the appearance that this is in itself, a knock-off doll versus a real Barbie, let alone a collection Holiday Barbie. Add to that a very uninspired plastic gold belt, and you have one of the worst dresses ever made.
I wanted very much to love this doll but was unfortunately left feeling as if she was less of a collector's item and more of a hastily put together afterthought.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful Details

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls, 10 and 5, love this doll! She is beautiful! Such wonderful details: her hair was curled, nails painted, puffy dress... It took a few days, but my older daughter noticed the dress has snowflakes and the earrings match. She is well-made. The dress is lovely, with good seams (so it has held up well so far and we've had it for a month). None of that "keep it in the box" for us: this doll was added to the melange right away. Lovely doll.
