Takes me back

Bought this set 2 1/2 years ago. Since then I've really got back into Lego. They have finally got their clientele figured out. It's for adults who want detail and nostalgia. Tons of small pieces that make a good sized display piece. Only complaint is that it only came with 2 cannons when there is 4 holes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun but frustrating

My wife and I are getting back into Legos. I had them as a kid, but I am revisiting them as an older adult. This build has been challenging because it is hard to figure out where changes are happening on the build. On the Viking Village, each change had a red highlight. The directions for this build do not have that red highlight. This has be a challenge for my wife and I. The over all quality and uniqueness of the bricks is great. We are looking forward to finishing it soon and invading the Viking Village.

Bought this set for a recent spring break trip to St. Augustine. Thought the pirate theme would be a good activity for a rainy day. It did not disappoint. Easy to build and fun for the home family!

I decided to build the ship. The detail is great, as are most LEGO sets. I am ordering a second so I can make on of the other builds to display with it.
