This was my first time building a lego boat of this scale, and I had a lot of fun. The pirate ship looks awesome, and is full of details like sharks, parrots, map room, and angled, and curved brick/boat work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely gorgeous and fun to build. My only complaint with is very minor. The captain's hat falls off way to easily. Other than that it is perfect. 10/10

Great Build, but not enough minifigs

Gives us nostalgia of the pirate theme of old. It is a great set with lots of cool features, but has a certain lack of minifigs. With four minifigs, plus a skeleton their is a lack of crew for the ship. If the added two more, the set would be perfect. Even if caused the price to increase 5, 10 dollars, it would be worth it.

Perfect! The son became interested in pirates and was very happy. He assembled the ship with great interest. It turned out to be a very beautiful ship.

No, it doesn’t float

My daughter has been I love with everything pirates lately. So of course we needed to purchase this pirate ship when it came out. The building was easy enough for her to do with help. We were curious to see if it would float so we headed to the beach to set sail. Unfortunately it didn’t.

Beautiful, Nostalgic Pirate Ship

This Creator 3-in-1 Pirate Ship is awesome to build, looks great on display, comes with detailed mini-figures, and brought back some serious feelings of nostalgia from playing with LEGO pirates as a kid. I love the size of this ship. It’s half the size of the really big LEGO ships but still retains a sense of big ship scale, detail, and features. I particularly like the red and gold color scheme and think LEGO designers did a wonderful job making brick built sails. Although I like the fabric sails on bigger sets, the brick built ones on sets like this and the newer Viking Ship are desirable because they’re not as fragile as the fabric ones and don’t require string or complex methods to hang them. Plus, extra bricks for rebuilding into other sets! All in all, I’m so incredibly happy with this set and display it proudly with my other LEGO ships. Bravo LEGO! Hoping for an Imperial version soon!
