Family fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started building the LEGO passenger plane with my 3 kiddos. Ages 10, 7 and 6. About half way through the building the 7 and 6 year lost focus and were bored. Leaving the ten year old and myself to piece this plane together. We had a great time working together. One piece was not cut the right way but we made it work. The step by step instructions were easy to follow. Overall is was a great project.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great set my son loves it

I bought this set for my son the day it came out and he was all over it. He is 5 so I helped him build it and it was pretty basic by fun. Can’t wait for the next airport lineup.

Time consuming but great set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a four year old son who has been getting into legos, but he’s wanted to do some of the larger, more time consuming sets.
This set includes 669 pieces. It comes with the main airplane, airport truck and elevator, air stairs, terminal, convertible car, and several figures.
The great thing about this is that it has interactive instructions where you can zoom and pan to make sure you’re getting the perfect build.
I will say this is a pretty time consuming piece. We built everything over several days as it gets a bit tiresome at points. Once you have everything together it’s great for gentle play. I love that the set includes the airport setting for more imaginative play. There are lots of small pieces included in this so I’d make sure you save your instructions. It holds together fairly well, though.

The set is very nice. I really like the car storage feature, and the minifigs are cool. The only problems are: 1. There are too few seats, in my opinion (there are 7)
2. The wings are noisy. If the model is on a shelf/desk, and there is a slight vibration in the ground, the wings ratttle.

It just takes to mush room and i wish there was a bigger a bigger and port with a gateway not a stairway.

LEGO airplane

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LEGO airplane for my 10 yo and it is absolutely amazing! It kept her entertained for hours! It has many additional things added to make a airport! It’s colorful and exciting! I wouldn’t recommend for small children due to small parts. It’s a great value for the price!

Fun set but lacking

Bought this for my tween son, who asked for it, built it, and thoroughly enjoys it -- but I would have loved to see more development of the plane's fuselage, airfoil, etc. instead of having such large surfaces in a single piece. It seems like a waste of money in that regard. Also, the plane's cargo door is flimsy. Love the details of the minifigures, terminal, and smaller vehicles, though -- they provide plenty of play opportunities, especially in conjunction with other sets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
