very detailed set that encourages imaginative play

This is one of the most fun, detailed LEGO sets my son has built in a long time. He loves it so much he frequently switches it back and forth between the RV and the camper (word of advice: keep the pieces for this set separated from other LEGO pieces). All the little details on the interiors make the set very playable with the minifigs. Not only can they drive the vehicles, but they can cook, work at a desk, go to the bathroom (the kiddo loves this feature), and sleep inside the RV and camper. Really great for imaginative play. This set gives you a lot of bang for your buck!

Camping Fun

I was really wanting this set due to the fun of the interior of the camper along with the SUV. I thought the set was a little pricey at the MSRP. and l luckily found it at a big box store for a discount. Awesome set where you build the entire interior of Both vehicles including the kitchen and bathroom of the camper. Intelligent execution on the design and I thought the fold up table and chairs of the interior were genius. on the exterior both vehicles are awesome and I love the design of the 8 stud wide SUV. Outside picnic area is a nice addition along with the little forest critters.

Fun, and relaxing build!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I are avid campers, so I just had to have this lego set! This set is a 3 in 1, meaning that you can use the same pieces to make multiple different scenes. I chose to start with the off-road vehicle with the travel trailer, animals, picnic fishing bench, and tree. This set comes with several bags full of different legos sorted by size, color, shape etc. The large bags are numbered in order of steps and within the large bags are smaller bags filled with the tinier pieces. This also comes with a large instruction book with step by step instructions that are extremely easy to follow. Each page will show you the shape, color, and amount of each lego you will need for that specific step. Each page also shows a picture of what your final product should look like and gives a zoomed in picture of anything tiny that may be harder to see from the large picture. The colors of each lego are very vibrant and realistic. The people and animals match the scene perfectly. This set took me (a 32yr old adult who hasn’t built a lego set since she was a kid,) about 4 hours from start to finish. The directions are super easy to follow and I would say the only difficult aspect of this is that it is time consuming and that you have to be patient. However, that is the whole reason for lego sets, there like puzzles and yet they don’t require you to think too hard which makes them very relaxing. This specific lego set is amazing with its details and accuracy. Inside the camper is everything from a dining table set, bathroom with a toilet, flower pot, oven, sink, etc. It is so realistic! After I built it I let my 5 year old play with it and it has kept her entertained for hours. This is literally the first toy we’ve owned that has been able to do that.
This set was exactly what I needed to give my brain a break from the difficult times we are living in. I highly recommend purchasing this and giving yourself or your kid something fun and relaxing to create.

Awesome set for the intermediate builder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first grader loved building this set, as we frequently cap as a family and many of the details in the set are very relatable (fishing, cook stove, etc). When the trailer was complete, my kiddo exclaimed "look--it has this part just like (friend's) camper trailer!"--referring to the deployable awning off the side of the trailer.
This is a really fun set that allows kids to re-live real world camping experiences, and it really helps transport you to the outdoors--which is really amazing if you think about it. Not just a replica toy--but a replica experience!

Love it, cumbersome to move

Love the 4seater, the girls love this feature and it hauls a family. Only complaints are the roof of the trailer is attached only by 4 pins total and the combination of trailer and vehicle is difficult for the kids to move (with small hands). Grabbing the trailer by the roof, it’s sure to fall to the ground. This presents another issue, the trailer’s walls aren’t very sturdy, in comparison to the Sunshine Surfer Van. So when the trailer drops, it explodes and a major rebuild follows. I rebuilt the top of the trailer with four extra pins to help secure the roof which has worked well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved building the Caravan Family Holiday LEGO set!! She definitely loves all LEGOS and has so much fun putting them together. She needed help a couple times trying to figure out what goes where but did the majority on her own(She’s 6). It did take her a good half day building it, between lunch and what not. But I would think this would only take an hour to build by someone older.
I love that the packages come numbered so she can easily figure out and build little by little. She used every piece but there were a couple left over pieces that I’m guessing were extra.
She has quite the imagination and I love that she can play for hours with her friends or family.
The quality and color and details were really great in this LEGO set. It’s so much fun building and playing together as a family.

We didn't have any trouble assembling it and never got frustrated during the process. It's the exact quality you would expect from the brand. It even came with the perfect accessories you would expect with a camping themed set.
