[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Laser Jet 2015d was an excellent printer and served me well for many years, but one day it just quit in the middle of a print job...probably a sensor or formatter according to HP support. The M404dw was recommended as a "close to equivalent" in the current line except that it has wifi. So far the printing function works well, and I like the printer. I have had issues getting it installed. There is no CD, just plug it in, turn it on and follow the quick, simple instructions on the web. Ha! The first two attempts totally failed. In one case the system locked up after I had entered a lot of the requested information. In the second case the system couldn't find the printer and just quit. The third time (two hours of frustration later), it installed smoothly. It is interesting that I saw a completely different interface all three times. After many attempts, I still doesn't recognize my wifi even though the router is about 3 feet away. I have tried using both methods: using a mobile device (iPhone) and a PC. The little blue wifi light is still blinking looking for a wifi signal. Both of my Epson printers recognize the iPhone and the iPad. I don't know what the M404dw's problem is. So the print function is working great from my PC where it is hardwired. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. HP's easy-to-install software needs some work.

I am happy with the HP products. I am just wondering If it has scanner.
