Falling apart

While this Mug keeps my coffee hot, the paint is peeling off everywhere to the point where it is flaking into my drink!. I don't even travel with it, so there is no wear and tear on it other than simply pouring my coffee into it and drinking from it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

using. The top with the gaskets is hard to make sure it's lined up properly so it doesn't leak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Flip-and-Go Stainless Mug is ideal for use when trekking or participating in other outdoor activities. The lock prevents the water from spilling. I really like the handle. It's quite strong, and I appreciate the high quality. I carry this about with me at all times and never leave it behind. It has helped me drink a lot of water and stay hydrated on my vacations. It is something I would strongly suggest to everyone. It's fantastic, and I'd buy another color.

Cold colder coldest!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s get the aesthetics out of the way. The teal color is perfect and fits into every single cup holder. So it’s entirely portable. I take it everywhere with me because it fits everywhere.
Now, how it works. Beautifully. I have tried both coffee and super cold water. Coffee was searingly hot even hours later. The ice water stayed ice cold for hours too.
The only con is the volume. 20ozs is just a little too little. Maybe another 4 ozs and it would be perfect! You should try this all purpose cup!

Love the teal color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was originally very impressed as I took the mug out of the box, the teal color is bright and amazing. I loved that it had a handle for going to the beach. However, I feel like the lid design needs some additional work. The lid has a rubber piece on top that slips into the mouth piece when not in use, which is nice in theory, but it takes up additional space and when you're drinking your nose is smashed into the lid. It also has quite a bit to disassemble in order to hand wash it, so definitely not a quick process there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with the mug! The rubber piece should not slip out once installed. It does need to be pushed in securely into the lid so it doesn't come off when it's closed. As for the lid, sometimes when opening if your hand is on the lid it will stop the lid from opening all the way back. We recommend to hold it on the top of the body of the mug and the lid will open all the way.

Convenient On the Go Mug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried lots of stainless steel mugs and the biggest problem for me was leaking water that dribbled out and got my clothes wet. This 20 ounce Flip-and-Go Mug from Zoijirushi doesn't leak! It is quality stainless steel that is vacuum sealed with a stopper gasket on the tight fitting screw on lid. There is a safety lock on the flip open lid that disables revealing the spout until you need it. Then there is a button to push to pop the lid open to drink out of the spout. Instead of a wide open hole, there is a straight piece across the hole that controls the water a bit and prevents ice dams and huge gushes of water. Everything stays cold. In fact the first time I used it I filled it up with ice which left little room for water thinking it would melt. The ice lasted for two days! So note to self...little ice and more water. The surface of the mug is slightly textured, easy to clean and doesn't sweat. There is a collapsible handle that fits snug against the mug when not in use. You can carry it or attach it to a belt or backpack. The slim silhouette allows it to fit in my car cupholder and golf cart cup holder. You just need to fill it and go on your next adventure. The only minor problem that I experienced was the paint chipping off the bottom of the mug from repeatedly lifting it in and out of the golf cart.

Pretty color, does what it claims

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the color of this - it’s very pretty. It also does a good job keeping hot things hot and cold things cold… but I don’t like it’s overall functionality.
Taking apart the lid to clean it is cumbersome. The white part isn’t easy to slide out of place. I didn’t like the way the lid popped open, when I have already drank from it that left bits of coffee on the lid which meant as it popped open it sprayed bits of coffee around. I also didn’t like the white part when drinking from the bottle. It’s too small. There’s not enough of a lip to drink from it comfortably. I also am not a fan of narrow necked bottles as they’re difficult to clean, and this is no exception. I have a bottle brush and it was a tight squeeze getting it in there.
This may all seem nit-picky, but I know what I like when it comes to cups like this, and this isn’t what I like.
I would give this 2.5 if I could, because I’m really not a fan. But 2 feels like too little when it actually does a really great job keeping temperature for an extended period of time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heavy duty mug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this mug, it’s especially great for transporting in the car. The instructions stated to take it apart and wash it before using which I will say was a rather daunting process. I did have to refer to the instructions several times to figure everything out. However once you do it a couple of times it’s much easier.
I like the fact that it locks so that the liquid does not spill. I’ve used it at the gym and that’s definitely a handy feature. My water stays cold and my tea stays warm, exactly as the product states.
Overall it’s a good product, I just took off 1 star due to the difficulty cleaning.
