Bosch Industrial Range For Our Kitchen Re-model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We invested in an entirely new & expanded kitchen, and the Bosch 800 Industrial Range replaced our old built in dual oven and gas cooktop units. This unit is very attractive, and the description of "Industrial" is accurate due to the styling. We installed our unit in an island, so it truly is "freestanding', and looks fantastic. This range looks comparable in design, size & quality to units that cost substantially more. It is very sturdy and performs well, with substantial burner grates that are sized to make them easy to handle & clean, having nice rubber feet to keep them from scratching the top surface of the stove. The stove-top burners are sealed well to make them a breeze to keep clean as well. The height of the legs and underneath clearance allows for ease of cleaning under the unit, where this style of freestanding range usually makes for a gathering place for debris. The clock & timer functions could be a little more intuitive & user friendly (re-setting the clock & cancelling the timer is a pain), but overall we are very happy we chose this unit. We purchased the 5 year extended coverage based on complaints we have seen, even though we are aware those can be an unfair indicator of issues. Time will tell - so far, we are really happy and believe it was a great choice, at a reasonable price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After waiting 5 months for delivery, the oven on this range stopped working 1 week after installation. Some oven settings reset the appliance, some didn't do anything, convection roast actually worked for some reason. However when the oven was on the knobs on the stove were too hot to touch. It took a month to get a service person to look at it, identified two parts that need replacing, but no lead time was given. I am working with the dealer to replace it with a different brand.
I will never buy another Bosch appliance off any kind.

Too many electronic issues

We purchased this range as part of a kitchen renovation. It looks great. I love a few little features such as the oven light staying on while it's on and the proof setting. However, after installation we immediately noticed the clock couldn't keep time (actually gained time rather than lost over time). It took 4 service visits and 3 component replacements before Bosch finally acknowledged the issue. We also have intermittent issues where, when using the cooktop, the display panel will reset (as if power has been lost). It's now been about 10 months since installation and the oven has stopped working. In most settings, no heat is produced. On convection bake, the display shows 876 and will not show below 550. It's hard to comprehend spending so much on an oven and it's unusable less than a year later. We have had other Bosch appliances through the years and been happy. This has completely changed our opinion of the brand.

Good Quality, No Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dual fuel range to as a replacement to one that broke. We were somewhat constrained on replacement options because of the space we had to fit it in. That being said we're very happy with our purchase so far and have had no issues in the 2+ months we've had it. I know this range is industrial grade, but the burners are VERY powerful - even the lowest output is still very strong.

Off to a bad start

Disappointing!

The oven doesnt work, it never worked and try getting someone here i a timely manner for repairs. The retailer is horrible. Not Bosch's fault but they should be careful who they let represent them. I want a new stove but have to wait for repairs. That is crazy sinece it is brand new!
