[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this dehumidifier I knew exactly where to put it. We have a 'office"/laundry room that is always musty, even in the dead of an up north winter with heat running. (all those bankers boxes full of paperwork, and the reference catalogs DH uses in his business hold on to moisture). I was pleased by its appearance, sleek, clean design in black. The controls and indicators are large and easy to read, understand and
set. I was able to move it around on the smooth rolling wheels with one hand. Mine has a pump so I don't have to empty a bucket, Such a great feature! I was able to run the tubing directly into the pipe next to my laundry sink that my washer drains into for discharge instead of snaking tubing across the floor into the floor drain. Kudos to that!
Also - I can monitor and adjust the settings and the humidity level remotely using a wifi app and my phone, which means I don't have to go downstairs to check on the dehumidifier status.
It is super quiet, I can hardly hear it, Energy Star rated for efficiency and it has worked great, sucking moisture out of not only the office/laundry room, but the entire lower level.
According to the wifi app the humidity level has already dropped in the room it is located and I opened up the doors to the other rooms on the lower level and so it is also handling the air from the family room, bathroom and storeroom. I would recommend this model highly, especially to those who want to place it a little remotely from where you are every day.

Unit Icing up and leaking after 3 years

The unit is now icing up on the bottom 1/3 of the coils and is leaking water all over the floor. The air filter and coils are clean and the fan is producing good airflow. Based on my research the unit has a slow coolant leak. I am disappointed that such an expensive unit only lasted ~3 years. I really like the unit pump and wifi features but 3 years of life for such an expensive unit is unacceptable.

Worked until it didn't :(

I purchased this unit in June 2022 as an upgrade to a different brand that had failed within a year of use. It worked great in 2022/2023, but failed this year. The unit still powers on successfully and all the controls are operable but within the first several hours of operation it develops a sheet of ice along the bottom of the coil fins and stops removing moisture from the air. This is far too expensive of an appliance to fail within 2 years of limited use, so I suggest you look elsewhere.
