[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have been using the LG PuriCare now for several weeks. My first observation is that it was a lot larger than I had expected, and much larger than the purifier it was replacing. After inspection, I was able to deduce why, it has HEPA filters on both the top and bottom. It also has a sensor built into the back that is constantly testing air samples looking for particle content in the air.
Regardless of the size, this unit is pretty quiet. During the day, we leave it on auto, and have noticed when deodorant or other type of aerosol spray is sprayed within 50 feet of this unit, it detects in, and cranks up the speed of the fans to filter it out. After the particle count drops below a certain threshold, it slows the fan down.
The fan on the top oscillates back in forth to improve air circulation within the area you are using this unit. On the top, you have the controls which are pretty intuitive to use, as well as the meter of the air quality. Green is good, orange is bad, and red is worst. The lights are pretty bright, so luckily there is a sleep mode that quiets the machine down, and turns off the light.
This device is a smart device, so it connects to your home wifi, and you can use an app to interface directly with the machine. The app shows you useful information regarding air quality, odor level, and overall cleanliness of your air. You can also look at an archival history of the air quality.
I have bad allergies, so all of this is very handy and useful for me. I have noticed a significant improvement with my allergies since using this.
This has a great warranty, so I know it will be something my wife and I will be using and enjoying for many years to come.

I turn it off at night because all the lights bother me when I sleep, but the lights DO look really cool in the dark!!! I think it does a great job! It is in my bedroom. You can tell if it picks up cooking odors or any outside smells by the lights turning red or yellow. Seems to take less than 5 minutes to neutralize any odors detected. By using the "swing" option, it circulates the air within the room. I like the fact that you can actually vacuum the filters and they don't have to be replaced constantly like many other air purifiers. Given the SIZE of those filters, it is a good thing! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The air purifier is easy to use; no timely set up. It is quiet but large. It is simple to understand when the air quality is not stellar. It lights up with colors to signify air quality: green is good, orange means there is a slight odor, and red is an alarming odor or poor air quality. There is an app that you can use to send alarms to let you know when there is a problem. Love our “R2-D12”!!

Clean air, Fresh smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to be picked to receive the LG PuriCare 360 Air Purifier discounted for my honest review. When it arrived I couldn’t wait to set it up! Opening the box was easy, cut the straps and lift the cardboard. Remove the clear plastic and put the air purifier on the ground. Remove the owners manual to read for directions. Set up the remote by putting the provided battery inside. Next, make sure to open the two big filter compartments to unwrap the filters and put them in place. Take off the other tape and any leftover shipping material. Plug in and push Start. It will start in Booster mode to get rid of as many unwanted particles, smells and ultra fine particles as it can quickly. I usually move it to smart mode next, where it is on “automatic mode”. Modes are all explained in the manual. This is a quiet Purifier. It makes some noise but not anything too noisy. Booster mode makes the most noise, which is the sound of a fan. I also hooked it up to my smartphone through the Smart ThinQ App and control it from there. Seeing the air quality on my phone gives me peace of mind. I am so happy to have the LG PuriCare 360 and that my family is breathing clean air.

I have terrible allergies and I live near a lot of trees, so pollen and dust are a huge issue for me. I've been wanting to get an air purifier for a while, but I was hesitant about which one to get, which one would work best for my needs, etc. I also just got a dog, so dander and other allergens are a new issue in my home. My son has worse allergies than me, so it was time for us to take the plunge on purchasing an air purifier. My home is made up mostly of LG appliances, so the LG PuriCare 360 Air Purifier was a natural choice for us (seeing as how much we love our LG appliances). For starters, I love the look of this thing. It stands about 4 feet tall, and looks like a dang robot in my living room. Our friends that come over are constantly asking, "what's that robot thingy in your living room?" We love showing it off, and highlighting all the awesome features it has. Our favorite feature is the Odor sensor. The lights on the display change color from green to yellow/orange to red when the purifier senses an odor. There are multiple speed and purification settings, and it does an amazing job of keeping the air fresh in the majority of my home.

It detects odors instantly and powers up high to take care of it instantly. I’ve notice a lot less dust in the room as well and we have new homes being built right outside. This unit is amazing! It’s helped keep my allergies in control and dust levels at low. It is worth every penny. I just with it was a little smaller but it’s a fantastic looking unit so it looks great and is not an eyesore. Highly recommended! This is a smaller, more compact air purifier than I had before, but it does almost as good a job. I suffer allergies and must have an air purifier in my bedroom all hayfever season. I purchased this to replace an old one I had for many years. This LG model worked very good. The only reason for the 4 star is because it took longer than I expected to move all the air.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is super quiet and has many options you can use to meet your needs. I use the auto feature so it turns it self on to the speed and feature my home needs at that particular time. Those with bad allergies can choose to leave it on booster high at all the time if they so chose. If you keep it in an area you sleep it you can even set "quiet" time so it doesn't interrupt your sleep. I loved connecting it to wifi and being able to control and view the stats from my phone. The device will tell you your air quality, dust size, and even how bad the smell is. If you don't want to get up and view the number or look at it on the app the device is color coded such as green is good quality, red is bad quality. If there are any negatives about the device is that it is rather large, and you need to ensure you have a space were it is away from everything 3 feet around to get the full benefit of the 360 air cleaning .
