Purchased the monitor, put together per instructions, plugged in and nothing. Monitor did not show power indicator and button on back did nothing to fix it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for business use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced two 24" monitors with this ultrawide monitor. It is perfect for business productivity use but okay for gaming. Since I don't game much anyway the monitor works well for me. I like the way the monitor also acts as a dock for my laptop.

Perfect for using multiple programs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is used for work purposes. For one who has not had a curved screen prior, it didn't take too long to get used to (maybe 3 days). It works perfect for my job as I usually have multiple programs open and the size of this monitor allows for each of them to be seen which allows a seamless working environment. The display is very clear and crisp. I would highly recommend this monitor.

By far the best monitor for work and casual gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do all my work with this monitor, with modern windows management support from native OS to Windows PowerToys & Rectangle Mac it is a joy to exercise the screen estate of this monitor to its limits.
This monitor does not have built in speakers but you can connect headset or speaker with a built-in audio out connector.
I find the button on the back of the monitor very hard to use and most of the time I simply leave it alone, so I cannot utilize advanced features such as PIP came with this monitor. I don't think too many people will miss this feature.
I do would like to remind you if you plan to mount this monitor onto an adjustable arm with vesa, be very careful because:
- many arms can only support up to 32 inch and this monitor is 34 and rather heavy.
- for same reason, use only reenforced screws for the vesa backplate.
- Try not to hold the edges of the monitor on either left or right side when adjusting the arm, because the monitor is curved it is more like to damage this way, hold the bottom and top instead.

The 100hz refresh rate sure is nice, and I love the fact you can connect a laptop using single USB-C cable.
My monitor seems to be leaking lights a little in the corners but it doesn't bothers me too much, if you are very picky about this you may want to consider more expensive variants.
