Setup was easy, updates were expected and with wifi 6 the downloads were quick. The screen touchpad works great, was expecting issues after all of the updates but there were none (The latest windows update 20H2 went a bit slow). As a nice unexpected surprise the pen from my wife's Surface Pro 6 worked on this screen (did not expect it to support it! Very cool for one note, xodo and sketch since it folds into a tablet) . The computer is very quick for an i5, suspect its the SSD. It did not get hot, the fan is quiet when running.

The asus zenbook flip is a great product for students and for every day use. Its fast , smooth, visually appealing and the speakers are good for a laptop but who really uses the speakers anymore, i just connect my Bluetooth headphones. This laptop isnt meant for gaming but it can still handle some games with ease. The camera is meh, ive seen better. The only feature i miss is a fingerprint sensor, other then that its dope.

Very happy with my purchase. Size and weight are proportionate. Lightning-fast laptop with intuitive mouse pad. I just love the feature and looks of it. Don't try it if you are not planning to buy as it can affect your decision.

Very light weight. Without a significant graphics card it can handle some games. Fast and lots of storage. I like it so far.

Terrible laptop

I haven't had this laptop for up to a month and it is already malfunctioning. The camera has stopped working yet it can sign me in with face recognition (THAT MAKES NO SENSE). If the face recognition is working, then how can the actual camera not be working when I try to use it for zoom meetings and adobe connect presentations? When I open the camera itself, it shows a grey screen with a camera icon with a strike through it. why? The built-in microphone stops working at random times too. At first, I got by this by using earphones with a mic. Now even the headphones and mic don't work. Today, my battery was at 99% and the laptop shut off. The only way I could turn it back on was to plug in the charger, start the laptop, then unplug the charger. This is so inconvenient. Certain apps (like Calendar) close down on you while you're typing and then you have to start over. To be honest, the second screen isn't really useful and I would not recommend this laptop to anyone. I'm taking the laptop back to Best Buy and replacing it with a better one. DON'T GET THIS LAPTOP. They should change the name from ZenBook to StressBook because it has more problems than my last laptop did after just A MONTH OF USE. Best Buy should recall this laptop ad stop selling it. It's too expensive to be this dysfunctional.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Crashing, freezing, glitchy screenpad
on January 29, 2020

The name of this computer is beyond ironic as it has been the absolute opposite of zen since I got it out of the box. The OS is full of bloatware and it was glitching and freezing repeatedly, especially when switching between different functionality like desktop to tablet mode and between screenpad and touchpad mode. Once that all settled down a bit (hopefully) the screen pad apps continue to create issues as they are absolutely useless (crashing as soon as they are opened) and the Asus "walkthrough" for how to troubleshoot the screenpad is an overcomplicated extremely user unfriendly exercise in frustration. Will see if I have more luck with customer service, but at this point I'm finding this machine to be a total waste of time.
