I have always used HP printers and have had good luck with them. I am very disapointed with this one. The automatic feeder does not properly work 50% of the time and Iam unable to simply check ink levels on the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Jeff,
I want to deeply apologize for the inconvenience the printer has been causing when it comes to the paper feeding mechanism. We certainly build our printers with the intent of providing a reliable experience for our customers, so I can imagine how disappointing a situation like yours can be. I would like to provide some help on how to proceed in this situation.
I would recommend you use HP official document to troubleshoot the issue with the paper feeding mechanisms. You can find it at: - support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m478-m479-series/19202514/model/19202521/document/ish_3186288-3235773-16
On a related note, I'd like to mention the fact that HP printers do also have a warranty from their purchase date, so if you find you need to use it, I hope you will. To verify the warranty, you can use the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
In case of further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at: hp.com/contactHP
This is the second printer (I exchanged the first one for the same problem), the scanner grabs too many pages and so you have to hand feed the documents to get the scan to work. It is very frustrating.

We have only had the printer up and running for 2 days. Easy set up and it was simple to connect employee personal computers to print. The quality of print is excellent.
