[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used HP LaserJet MFP models 177, 477 and now the 479. M479 is a great machine. No issues setting it up. I was up and printing within 15 minutes on an ethernet network.
I will have to say compared to it's older brothers, the quality and solidness of the plastic of the M479 is a bit cheaper quality. But at the end of the day, if it prints 20-30 pages a day, scans a few documents and photos per week, and lasts for 4-5 years, then who cares what it feels like. As long as it does it job reliably.

I love how when you print and scan it does it all at once. I no longer have to wait for one side to print then the other. The cost of the ink cartridges are high but they are much bigger and last longer. Great product.
