printer works fine when it works... the scanner software is terribly buggy and prone to locking up my computer forcing me to do a restart. I have installed it multiple times and ran the HP "fix it" software.... Yuk. All in all, I would never recommend this printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had two previous models that this one replaced. Print is not as clear as last model. Does the job needed. Can only scan from glass top, so scanning multiple pages together not an option. Haven't taken the time to search for a solution as our old Mf477 automatically scanned from the top feeder. Overall works for basic printing and copying.

We had 1 paper jam when we started but no more after that. It only gets 4 stars due to the actually paper tray. It seems very flimsy and has some seating issues so you have to be gentle with it.
