I purchased this printer for my office in June/July and was so happy with it that when my home printer had an unfixable paper jam, I didn't hesitate to purchase this again.
I've contacted support several times to address an issue with the Scan to Email. The printer will not accept pop3, imap or google email accounts. I logged several support tickets with no resolution. They just want to close the ticket without resolving the issue
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there,
I want to sincerely apologize for all the problems the printer has been causing. We certainly build our printers with the intent of providing a reliable experience for our customers, so I can imagine how frustrating and disappointing a situation like yours can be.
Due to the vague nature of the issue, please reach out to us for support. We'd be more than happy to work through any troubleshooting or initiate a replacement under your printer's warranty. You can give us a call at +1 800-474-6836 between the hours of 8 am - 9 pm ET. To expedite things a bit, I recommend gathering this information beforehand:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Your case number (from prior contact with support)
On a related note, I'd like to mention the fact that HP printers do also have the warranty from their purchase date, so if you find you need to use it, I hope you will. To verify the warranty, you can use the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
In case of further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at: hp.com/contactHP
Out of the box the printer is working very well. However, the roller feed for scanning or coping documents is consistently jamming. Disappointing since HP printers are usually rock solid. I'll see how customer support addresses this problem.

I like the printer. The only problem I have is the the setup instructor are terrible. I had to call my IP man to help Me install it I still have problems with trying to print and scan It keeps want revert back to printing on both sides of the paper and I have to stop and reset everything. Hopefully it will get better. For the money it costs it should have easy detailed instructions
It prints well when working, but has already required multiple phone calls and tech chats in 2 weeks without resolution to the inability to print multiple copies in a collated fashion for a business printer as well as another problem.
