Don’t know because our new printer traveled halfway around the southeast, before delivered to our home. Have not set up yet. We expect it to be damaged having traveled over 1000 miles when we are 200 + or - away from distribution center. Ask us after it is set up and we see if it works.
I bought the printer which was very good deal but it is not printing!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear your printer is not working like it should. It’s easy to understand why that would be a tremendous disappointment, especially with a new printer, so I’ll offer some resources that I hope will help.
I can’t tell from your review why your printer is not working, so I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
I bought this printer recently after an old inkjet died. Since I print infrequently, a laserjet makes more sense for me. Overall I'm happy with the printing and scanning, but there is a little room for improvement.
Pros: - Crisp, clear printouts - Printer detected and "just works" on Linux, MacOS, Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux - Touch screen menus are easy to navigate - Scanning is very quick
Cons: - There's such a large power draw, when I turn it on or it cycles toner, the lights dim in my home office. No other printer has done this. - Documents scanned through the automatic feeder are sometimes a little crooked
I have been trying to connect the "fabulous" printer for over 10 days without success. There are no resources available online to help.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
