Received our MFP M479fdw just last week and it is a wonderful machine. The scanning feeder gives us straight pages. The colors are vivid! When I send a document to the printer by WiFi, it reacts in seconds and the page is popping out the front in just a few seconds. This machine is working well for our Business and much better than the Inkjet printer, scanner, fax that we used before.

I owned the 232 for a while before upgrading to the 479. I find it to be noticeably quieter (wife says they sound the same). I was never able to find a dB rating in the specs anywhere. Overall It seems like a much better machine than the 232. No way I'll be close to the monthly usage rating but for the small price difference it's worth the quality upgrade.

I bought two of these for a new K - 8 school. They are great for what we needed. They work great with the HP scanning software and make great copies quickly as well as the printing. The printed materials look very professional. HP never disappoints!

The product seems cheaply made. Really surprised by how poorly some of the trays slide; doors open/shut, etc. Furthermore, lot of frustrating software issues. We have HP computers, which should have made the process more seamless. Sigh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a bit of time to use this printer properly because I didn’t have a long enough Ethernet cable. Once I got to use it I experience great quality prints, color and b/w. Scanner, copier, feeder for copying or scanning worked great. I haven’t had a chance to use the fax part yet.
Extremely easy to just plug in and use. Touch screen has the perfect sensitivity and is simple to navigate. Uploading the driver for my iMac was easy and simple. I am going to continue to use it and judge/experience it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to opportunity to try out the HP Color LaserJet Pro for my small home office. Right out the box I saw this was not a regular old printer. Getting the machine set up took some concentration and the help of my tech savvy neighbor. After some reading and tweaking we were able to get it up and running. Initially I planned on using this to print small art for custom orders and everyday office use. It took me a little while to get used to the settings and just printing a simple invoice. But after about 2 weeks I feel very comfortable using this for all my office needs, the kids use it for reports and homework. I really like that I can scan documents to my email, canva and laptop with ease. The artwork printed on this machine is top quality, the images are vivid and captures depth and the smallest of details. So far I am very pleased with the work I am able to accomplish on this machine. I look forward to learning and getting more familiar with the other functions I haven't tried yet.
Pros: Affordable

There, as now, it was flexible to use (WiFi, Internet, Direct Connect, etc.), enabling computers on my home system and the portable laptops to print with easy. Also, the quality of the printing is excellent. And, don't forget, it copies and Fax, plus digitally scan to files, all with quality resolution.
