They call it "connected," but it's not connectable. Say what?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm happy with the unit's air conditioning capabilities. It cools the small space of my office just fine. However, I purchased 3 (different model number) units at the same time, to cool my whole house. Two of the three connected with the Frigidaire app flawlessly, but this one, as soon as I got it connected, gave me the error "This appliance isn't supported by this app yet." I tried 3 times, just to make sure it wasn't user error, but no. Same message. How can you call this a connected unit (and charge extra for that functionality) when it's not even capable of connecting to Frigidaire's own app?

Convenient and Cold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this AC, with the additional coverage, specifically for our baby boys room over summer. I wanted wifi in order to prevent waking him up by entering the room. I can adjust the AC accordingly by phone app. depending on the weather outside, and it keeps our son cool and comfortable. My wife and I are very pleased with the purchase. We actually bought 3, one for each bedroom. I was nervous about our room, we have very barrow windows but this air conditioner fit perfectly, it is the only 6000 BTU AC that would fit our window, it is a 1/4 inch smaller in width than the window opening!

Overall very good not as quiet as a mini split

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit ticks all of the boxes except it's not the quietest unit out there which for a unit being next to my bed is really important to me. Smart home connectivity works good enough, it makes the room cold and it's one of the more efficient units

Perfect for what I needed

What I really love about this unit is the WiFi and App. I can turn it on and off and adjust it from anywhere! I use the app all the time. This is my 2nd unit and they both work great with the app.

Works but noisier than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well but couldn’t believe it clicks on and off all night, like a fridge but much louder. Maybe I’m just not used to A/C!
Also annoying that Alexa can turn it on and set the temp and ‘cool’ mode but cannot turn it to fan only mode, and cannot set the fan speed.
