Nice Bedroom AC, but.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AC does a good job of keeping the bedroom cool at night, but I don't like not being able to see the temperature setting at a glance. There needs to be a way to turn the front display ON for constant viewing instead of having to touch a button on the remote just to see what temperature it's set at on the AC unit. - Also, I'm not a big fan of the credit card-sized remote control. The larger remote from previous year models is easier to use and less likely to be lost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not installed my AC yet, but I can say that the one it is replacing was a Frigidaire model purchased in 2011. It worked great last summer. Stored it for the winter and plugged it in and it made a noise that did not sound right so I decided to retire it. My faith in the brand was confirmed when I looked at the sticker to see what the BTU was and realized how long it had been in use! I will be purchaing other Frigidaire products as well! Thank You!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best Window Unit Ive Had This 6,000 BTU Unit Does Better Than The 8,000 I Had Before So Efficient And Works Great, The Only Thing That Makes This Review A 4 Star Instead Of A 5 Star Is The App, When I First Got This Unit, The App Was Terrible Didnt Work Half The Time Always Was Glitchy, But Recently Saw They Had An Update, And The New App Works Flawlessly! Ok I Guess Ill Bump It Back Up To 5 Stars Then Since They Did Fix The Only Thing I Was Not Happy With,,,,

Frigidaire Window AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice, love the app to control your AC but disappointed with no continuous display of temperature and control, only when you change something then display turns off. Top mount was bent and couldn't install until 10 days later to receive a replacement part.

wifi connection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It would be nice if it ran on a 5G wifi since all our cell phones do, these days. If/when I switch back to connect to the 5G with my cell phone, I probably will lose connection with the AC. Also, I wish it had more range of which way to direct the airflow. We had to mount it high in the window above the door and had to create a makeshift hood to direct the air down. Otherwise, it is a good unit and has handled the heat of the summer well.
