[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is replacing one from 2008, so about time. This is SO much quieter, and has done a good job so far keeping the bedroom comfortable (we haven't hit any really hot days so far).
The WIFI control wasn't what made me buy this unit, but it was quick and easy to set up, and seems to work well, although I don't bother with it much. Nice to be able to check the room temperature remotely from my tablet even when the AC is turned off. I think this will allow me to leave it off until I see the temps starting to climb and then turn it on during the summer. We'll see how that works out

Doesn't connect to wifi, broken remotes

Bought two of these pieces of crap. Neither connects to wifi (and I tried both of their garbage apps). Neither remote works. Save your money.

Great features!
