It’s a good product. Takes a lot longer to dehydrate food than one would think. Food spoils quickly if it’s not properly stored. Heed caution.

Machine works as should. The beef jerky recipe in the manual is really good, but I would only dehydrate for 4 hours or else really dry. Plantain chips are dry and crisp, but not the same as deep fried. Good to use with dips tho! Overall a good purchase for at home use!

I use our Dehydrator primarily for drying herbs and fruit. It does an excellent job drying however the drying guide that comes with it did not work for me. For instance the herbs needed to be dried on med. setting instead of low and the apple slices on high instead of med. Also the oval shape looks nice but stacking the trays is a little cumbersome because of that.

I do love the dehydrator I don’t love that there is only 5 trays and only 1 plastic tray for the roll ups. There are very hard to find.
