Have used the dehydrator to make fruit leather. It’s so easy to make healthy fruit snacks for anyone to enjoy. I followed the recipe in the instruction booklet— super easy to make the fruit leather. We prefer to use just fruit and lemon, which we blend and lay onto the tray. Unfortunately it only came with one tray, but buying more is available online— we highly recommend as we can eat a whole batch of fruit leather in minutes. Can’t wait to dehydrate more items.

I had previously bought an earlier model of this dehydrator to use to make beef jerky. I liked the outcome so much, I decided to purchase a second unit with the hopes that the trays would be interchangeable, and to allow me to dehydrate twice as much jerky simultaneously. The trays are interchangeable which allows me the ability to consolidate the trays on one dehydrator as the thinner pieces get done and I have fewer trays left to complete.
