I am happy with my Cuisinart coffeemaker. It makes great coffee. I love that it does not require the paper filters. It is easy to program and I love the 1-4 cup option. I use this setting often when I’m making coffee just for myself and the coffee is hot and tastes good. I also like that you can choose how long you want to keep the coffee hot - up to 4 hours. But there are a couple of design flaws that I find unhandy. One is the clock. It is not readable. I have to bend down level with it to see the time. It is too small to read. The other feature I don’t like is there is no window to see how much water you are pouring in. I usually use bottled water for coffee and instead of pouring it directly into the coffeemaker, I have to pour into the carafe and then into the coffeemaker. The lid to the carafe has to be completely removed to pour water into it. At first the lid was so tight I had to pry it off with a spoon but it loosened up after a couple of uses. Overall it is a good coffeemaker.

I have not had a decent cup of coffee since I bought this thing. I have to guess how much water I put in it, since I am too short to see the guide inside the water well. I loved the coffee maker that has the water guide on the outside of the coffee maker.

I purchased the unit around Dec 17 (online) - after 3 days noticed the clock gained 15 min / hour so did everything asked to get a replacement. Currently Jan 10, 2022 and NO REPLACEMENT. Unit makes great coffee, easy to program and use. Past units reliable ... not this one!!!

For openers I really like the coffee it makes. The "retro" styling is fun and simple to operate. The one thing I'd like to see is a better clock. This one is far too small and could use back-lighting as in previous models. Overall, a great affordable coffee maker.

Carafe lost all markings after two weeks use. Fill opening is too dim to use without markings or flashlight. Can't trust other workmanship/quality issues, if this simple issue is not right.
