Have never purchased a really quality coffee maker before. This coffee maker was my first expensive one. Well worth the money. Brews quickly. Impressed that I never have coffee grounds in my cup as before with a cheap coffee maker. Very happy with this brand. I researched all the coffee makers I was considering before making the decision to buy the Cuisinart brand.

This is the third brew central coffeemaker that I have purchased. These units have lasted from 6 to 7 years each. The units were used daily. Only had to run the cleaning cycle about once a year. Always produced a good cup of coffee.

Our first Cuisinart coffee maker died after 24 months and the water pump quit working. We liked the features of the unit so we decided to give it one more chance with an exact duplicate replacement model.

OK so far - ask me in a year. I had one of these before and the on/off button failed. I see they now put on a different type of switch, which means the older version was flawed. Hope this lasts longer
