I had this product for around ten years, using it daily. When it failed I looked to see whether there might be anything better on the market. The many years of simple, trouble-free operation made this tough to beat. I couldn't find anything and bought again.

I actually did purchase the coffeemaker a month ago. The coffee is delicious and stays hot, you can adjust the warmer plate. The carafe pours perfectly with no spilling, a great design on the spout and cap.
I do have a problem with the opening for the adding the water. It is not large enough and I really would have appreciated a clear gage as it is difficult to see inside, especially when making another half pot to add to the original brewing,

I am now on my third or fourth of this model of coffee maker and keep coming back. It brews very consistent coffee and is a snap to prepare. The only caveat is that the pot MUST be placed in the receptacle properly else the pause feature will cause an overflow. I hope Cuisinart makes this product forever.
