I took this coffee pot back the day after I tried it. The grounds went all over the basket and into the pot, and I was very careful to use the correct measurement and the right grind of coffee. It never beeped when it was done brewing and the ground basket still had water in the grounds.

After you brew a pot and pour yourself a cup - you can't get the pot back in under the basket without first opening the top and loosening the basket. What a poor product.

We were very happy with this new Cuisinart, but then ran into an issue. If any coffee grounds escape the removable filter basket, the next layer is not removable, and so is very difficult to clean. And if not cleaned, those will clog it up and stop the fresh coffee fro dripping down into the carafe. I’m not sure yet whether I would recommend to others. It depends whether this is more than a rare situation.

Makes a good cup of coffee but the clock is way too small hard too read. Also when you lift the lid were you access the filter too clean. The lid has so much moisture on it runs down the back of the unit all over the counter and were the power cord goes in. Not safe.

Coffee brewed from this appliance is no where near as good as from the non-pricey Mr. Coffee. Water level not visible from exterior of pot and basket not always easily maneuvered into place. Not a good purchase.
