This coffeemaker is a replacement for an older Cuisinart that I had for many years. Until buying a Cuisinart, I had replaced a coffeemaker every year, so obviously Cuisinart's quality is far superior. I really like the fast brew time, the spill-proof carafe and heat settings for the carafe. The exterior does not show smudges and is easy to clean.

Absolutely love the machine, and it's features.the ONLY down side is the clock display and lettering on around the control knobs are small and somewhat difficult to see, I purchased the red machine, maybe that makes the lettering hard to see, but overall... a terrific product.

The coffee pot is awesome. Works wonderfully. However, the beep feature that notifies you of when it’s done brewing and when it shuts off needs to have a shut off option. It wakes my small child at 5am when I get up which is not conducive to my sanity.
