It's easy to use and makes great coffee. The funnel filter makes it easy to prepare the coffee.
The only drawback is that the clock is not illuminated. Makes it hard to set with bifocals.

We bought this same model several years ago and it served us well. Everything has to wear out sooner or later and that coffee maker lasted for quite a while.
My wife,to my dismay, brought home a Mr Something coffee maker. I didn’t like the design or the way the coffee tasted. After using it for three weeks it quit working and the clean machine light was on. I ran white vinegar through it and it started working again. Two weeks later the same thing happened. I cleaned it again and three weeks later the same thing. I told my wife, in a nice way, that if she wanted coffee again that I was going to buy a decent machine. Another Quisinart just like what we had before. She admitted that the coffee made out of this Mr Something never tasted good. Anyway, the rest is history! Every morning we make a good pot of coffee to get the day going. I really like the cone shaped filter that not only saves coffee usage, it gives the coffee a richer flavor.
