I bought it about a month ago after having a Keurig and taking it back. I like the look of it the design is find the things I don't like are the clock that's not back lip and too small to see I don't like the program knobs because I can't see where they go in fact I've had to take white duct tape and put a little tape on them so that I could see them I've messed up on it several times because of that as far as the taste of the coffee it's wonderful I like the hot plate that you can adjust the temperature on cuz I like a good hot cup of coffee. I'm still determining whether it's a goodbye or not I'll know more about it in another month. It's good but there's always room for improvement

I have always loved the Cuisinart Brew Central, it makes great coffee and I have owned several over the past 25 years. However that said, the reason I left a 4 star instead of a 5 star, is I hate that there is not a water level viewing window on the outside of the coffee maker. I have a difficult time seeing the water "steps" while pouring in the water. Very aggravating having to stick my face into the well to check the water level alternating with pouring water.

If I had realized how the maker was designed I would have bought another coffee maker. I bought it online and should have gone to a store to see it before my purchase.
Don't like that I can't see how much water I am putting in when getting ready to make coffee. I make a just six or eight cups so have to know how much water is going in the reservoir. I have owned several Cuisinart Coffee Makers, and other Cuisinart products. This is the first time I have been disappointed with one of your products. It makes good coffee, but the fact the maker is so tall that I have to stand on a chair to see how much water I am putting in - I DON'T LIKE THAT AT ALL!!!!!!!!! I could unplug the unit, set it on a table to fill the desired amount of water and then move it back to the counter, hoping I don't spill any, but I DON'T LIKE THAT EITHER. Yes, I fill the decanter with desired amount and then pour it into the reservoir and always spill it. I live in the country and filter my water so it would be easier for me to be able to just look at the side of the maker and see how much I am putting in, using the spouted filtered pitcher that I use. All the other Cuisinart makers I owned had a clear tube on the side of the maker so I could easily see how much water was going into the reservoir.
