Less than a month after I received this the clock started resetting at random times. Can’t use the timer brew function!

I am a diehard Cuisinart fan but this coffee maker is a big disappointment to me. The first is my fault for not reading well enough but the clock is not back lit and VERY difficult to read. Secondly the lid on the coffee pot NEVER stays on and invariably coffee spills all over. The water fill area in the back is extremely difficult to use without spilling water everywhere. The signal beeper malfunctioned after the very first use. Now it beeps with a sound that goes in and out and is very faint in volume, leaving me to wonder when the coffee is actually ready. And the last item of concern are the reviews I read after purchase that this particular model has caused some fire issues. I have not had this on my unit but it still concerns me as to whether I should even be using it any longer. I own everything Cuisinart but this is the first item that I wish I had never bought. Big disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coffeemaker makes good coffee and is efficient. Love it. Only thing I would change and that’s to put in a glass viewer so you could see how much water is in the reservoir without having to look inside the pot.

Just ordered a new one . My other pot was just like this and I really loved it. I just don't like that the heating plate went out after only a years use.

We replaced our Bunn coffeemaker (that worked perfectly) with the Cuisinart 12 cup. Had one before but when it finally quit we bought a new Bunn. Over time we got tired of the Bunn insulated carafe with no heat plate. The Cuisinart was always a great coffeemaker and when we decided to go back to a regular type coffeemaker, after looking at many makes and models the Cuisinart was our go to again. No regrets! Love it!

I do love this machine. We are coffee people and this is our second Cuisinart coffee maker. It keeps the coffee hot and that is important to my husband. The only thing I would change would be take the water measuring marks easier to see. Our coffeemaker is under a cabinet so we have to angle it to see the markings.
