I bought this coffee maker about a month ago to replace an old Cuisinart coffee maker that I purchased on sale for half price about 20 years ago. It has been working great for 20 years and still works fine, but I figured it was time to update my coffee maker to match the new Cuisinart toaster oven and microwave that I purchased recently. The new coffee maker perks coffee quite promptly and has many settings. The main thing different with this new coffee maker from my old one is that it uses wedge shaped paper coffee filters rather than the round pleated filters. The round filters work OK for up to 6 cups of coffee, but the larger tapered paper filters can take the larger amount of grounds needed for a full pot. The unit looks good and works great, as do all my other matching Cuisinart kitchen appliances. I will be interested to see it this one lasts for 20 years.
