The on button intermittently works. It must be hit several times in order for the machine to start working and for the light to go on. I always order this model when one fails, but I might have to be looking for another choice since this seems to be the recurring problem with this unit.

It's got a retro look and looks cool on my countertop. It's practical and doesn't overload the user with many useful features making the coffee maker hard to use. It's got the right mix of functionality, practical features and quality performance. This is the third one I've had - first one lasted over 10 years and my second one was still working but the burner was looking used and the labels on the one of the settings was starting to fade but probably would have kept going!

We tried other coffee makers (ie, Keurig) but returned to Cuisinart because the brewed coffee just tastes better. It's easy to use, simple to set up programming, and the model fits nicely on countertops and under cabinets.

This is my second coffee maker. The original product lasted almost 15 years. It was only natural to purchase another. It has a temperature control, clock, timer, heat control. It has never let me down

Great drip coffeemaker! The Brew Central makes a great cup of coffee! It doesn't leak, doesn't drip water all over, keeps the coffee hot, makes a strong cup. It's programmable and will stay on for 4hrs, which i really like. The last pot I had only stayed on for 2hrs, then i had to turn it back on and in the meantime my coffee got cold. Once you try it you'll never go back to another brand! If you live in a hard water area, don't forget to clean it with vinegar water once a month and you shouldn't have any issues. Besides that, I give it a two thumbs up!
