Once water is added to the coffee maker it is impossible to see down inside to see if the water level is appropriate. I hate this! The previous Cusinart coffeemaker I owned had the measuring level on the side of the coffee maker where it could be easily seen.

Great coffee maker, only complaint is the water entry is a little narrow or small so you have to be careful when filling, other than that it’s our second model 1200. It must have some good traits or cuisinart wouldn’t keep making the same one. They generally last about 7 to 10 years without any trouble.
