Over the years we have tried many coffee makers until this Cuisinart Coffeemaker was given to us as a house warming gift. It is a little pricey or so we thought until it finally quit working after 5 years and we bought the exact same one again. In that time of 5 years we would have bought numerous cheaper coffeemakers that quit working after 10 months or so and we would have spent way more money than the cost of 1 Cuisinart. This is the best coffeemaker that we have ever bought.

It’s wonderful! It’s hot for two hours. Programmable for coffee in the morning. This is my third one in 8 yrs. I make at least 3 pots a day. I have one at my cabin also.

This model doesn’t have tons of bells & whistles, but it is a reliable performer. I’m on my second one now. First one lasted 12 years.
Condensation & steam seem to eventually affect the small circuit board, so now I open the top lid before I leave every morning to allow the moisture to evaporate instead of being trapped inside. It may help a little. Who knows?

We love Cuisinart coffee makers! This one is very good. Has the permanent reusable filter. But we prefer to use the paper filter. It also has the feature to alert us when it’s time to descale.
