This is my second Cuisinart coffeemaker. I really like the way it brews the coffee, keeps it warm and shuts off in a reasonable length of time. However my first coffeemaker had a gauge on the side to determine how much water you put in which was perfect for me. My second one has the inside step gauge which is impossible to see unless you are quite tall. I’m 5’4” and my helper is 5’. We measure the water on the carafe but I find that inconvenient.

My last Brew Central™ 12 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker lasted 8+ years before it got so clogged up that it didn't respond to 2 successive vinegar treatments. The new one arrived promptly after ordering and has faithfully provided us with our essential morning coffee ever since. I suspect this new one will outlive me (I'm 78 and really don't expect to see 86!--But I might be surprised and will have to order another one again in 2031).

I’ve had a few different brands of drip coffee makers and I like this one the best. The warmer does a great job of keeping coffee warm/hot because it’s adjustable. To be honest this is my second one. I bought the exact same model 6 years ago but the on/off switch failed. It would sometimes work but not always. So when I wanted to replace it, I chose the very same one as I like it so much.

Great coffee maker! I've used this model for the last 10+ years. It makes great coffee, love the timer and being able to set a 4 hour stay on. I will say this is either the 3rd or 4th one purchased over 10 to 12 years. Usually the burner goes out but the last time it was the clock/timer.
